The Newtown Nighthawks tipped the visiting Bunnell Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 55-53 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Nighthawks face the Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars (Bridgeport, CT) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 27. Newtown will attempt to move on its 14-7 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 19-2 record after their 55-30 non-league win over Weston (Weston, CT).
With the defeat, Bunnell moves to 13-8 on the year.
