The Bunnell Bulldogs topped the visiting Newtown Nighthawks basketball team by a final score of 49-36 in Thursday's league game.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Amistad Wolves (New Haven, CT) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 11. Bunnell will attempt to move on its 11-5 season record. The Wolves enter the game with a 7-6 record after their 73-53 non-league win over Capital Prep (Hartford, CT).
With the defeat, Newtown moves to 12-6 on the year. The Nighthawks travel to New Milford (New Milford, CT) to face the Green Wave in a Southwest game on Tuesday, February 14. The Green Wave enter the game with a record of 7-11. New Milford lost 58-55 in their recent non-league game against Abbott RVT (Danbury, CT)
