The Meridian Mustangs basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Farwell Eagles to 26 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clare for a Jack Pine contest on Thursday, March 2.

The Eagles (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Carson City-Crystal triumphed over Merrill (Merrill, MI), 42-18, in a league contest.
