Illinois High School Basketball - Massac County winner over Murphysboro

The Massac County Patriots (Metropolis, IL) basketball felled the host Murphysboro Red Devils (Murphysboro, IL), 55-40 in Friday's non-league test.

The Patriots (25-6) will now prepare for their test against Pinckneyville (Pinckneyville, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 26-6 record. In their last test, Pinckneyville thwarted Columbia (Columbia, IL), 48-45, in a non-league test.

The Red Devils now own a 19-10 record.
