The Pennfield Panthers basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Northwest Mounties to 53 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williamston for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 28. Pennfield will battle a Hornets team coming off a 59-45 league loss to Mason (Mason, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 5-16.

The Mounties (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Columbia Central (Brooklyn, MI). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 5-13 record.
