The Champlain Valley Union Redhawks topped the host Rice Memorial Green Knights basketball team by a final score of 48-37 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Redhawks face the Essex Hornets (Essex Junction, VT) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 27. Champlain Valley Union will attempt to move on its 16-2 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 15-7 record after their 56-39 non-league win over Burr & Burton (Manchester, VT).
With the defeat, Rice Memorial moves to 11-14 on the year.
