In Saturday's non-league outing, the Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD), by a count of 74-45.
The Knights (23-7) will now prepare for their outing against Paul VI (Chantilly, VA). The Panthers go into the VISAA Division I outing with a 28-2 record. In their last outing, Paul VI smashed Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC), 69-41, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now hold a 16-13 record.
