New Mexico High School Basketball - Capitan fells Cloudcroft

The Capitan Tigers basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting Cloudcroft Bears to 30 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now possess a 9-16 record. They play next when they travel to Lordsburg for a 2A District 3 game on Tuesday, February 25. Capitan will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 47-43 league loss to Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM). The Mavericks record now stands at 12-11.
With the loss, Cloudcroft falls to 7-20 on the campaign.
