The Quitman Bulldogs baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Como-Pickton Eagles to 2 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their match against North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, North Hopkins gained a win over Campbell (Campbell, TX), 16-4, in a non-league match.
The Eagles (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Commerce (Commerce, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Commerce was overwhelmed by Callisburg (Gainesville, TX), 14-4, in a non-league match.
