Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Como-Pickton Eagles (Como, TX), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Quitman upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX) to battle the Red Devils in a 3A Region II District 13 test on Tuesday, April 11. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 2-11.
With the defeat, Como-Pickton falls to 10-9 on the season. The Eagles travel to Ford (Quinlan, TX) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, April 7. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 8-11.
