Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM), 54-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Los Lunas upgrades its record to 23-6 on the season. The Tigers host Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM) to play the Bulldawgs in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 4. The Bulldawgs go into the bout with a record of 16-11. Las Cruces lost 65-56 in their recent non-league bout against Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM)

Next up, the Demons play the West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 4. Santa Fe will attempt to upgrade on its 18-11 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 21-8 record after their 65-44 non-league loss to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM).
