North Carolina High School Baseball - Carson held off by Lake Norman Charter

February 25, 2025: Huntersville, NC 28078

Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC), 3-1 in a league match.

With the triumph, Lake Norman Charter advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Knights travel to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to battle the Falcons in a South Piedmont 3A match on Friday, February 28. The Falcons come into the match with a record of 1-0. West Rowan won 11-1 in their recent league match against South Rowan (China Grove, NC)

The Cougars now have a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Stanly for a non-league match on Thursday, February 27. Carson will battle a Comets squad coming off a 10-5 non-league win over Piedmont (Monroe, NC). The Comets record now stands at 1-0.
