North Carolina High School Baseball - Carson defeats Lake Norman Charter

March 28, 2025: China Grove, NC 28023

The Carson Cougars baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Lake Norman Charter Knights to 9 in the Cougars league win on Friday.

The Cougars now hold a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Cabarrus for a South Piedmont 3A test on Tuesday, April 1. Carson will play a Vikings team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-9.

With the defeat, Lake Norman Charter drops to 8-3 on the year. The Knights host West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to play the Falcons in a South Piedmont 3A test on Tuesday, April 1. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 12-3. West Rowan won 6-3 in their recent league test against South Rowan (China Grove, NC)
