Colorado High School Basketball - Clear Creek routs Gilpin County

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Clear Creek Golddiggers basketball team scored a big 72-30 triumph over the Gilpin County Eagles.

The Golddiggers (6-15) will now prepare for their contest against Denver Academy (Denver, CO). The Mustangs go into the 3A/2A/1A Mile High contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Denver Academy was trounced by Union Colony Prep (Greeley, CO), 69-67, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Union Colony Prep Timberwolves (Greeley, CO) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 27. Gilpin County will attempt to better on its 0-21 season record. The Timberwolves go into the contest with a 10-11 record after their 70-64 non-league win over Dawson School (Lafayette, CO).
