The Burlington Seahorses basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Essex Hornets to 41 in the Seahorses non-league triumph on Monday.
The Seahorses now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Essex for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 29. Burlington will battle a Hornets team coming off a 59-31 non-league win over South Burlington (South Burlington, VT). The Hornets record now stands at 13-9.
The Hornets (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against South Burlington (South Burlington, VT). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 2-18 record. In their last contest, South Burlington was defeated by Enosburg Falls (Enosburg Falls, VT), 52-23, in a non-league contest.
