The Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) basketball felled the visiting Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA), 54-36 in Monday's non-league test.
The Buffaloes (20-5) will now prepare for their test against Central Wise (Norton, VA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 24-6 record. In their last test, Central Wise was beaten by Gate City (Gate City, VA), 70-60, in a non-league test.
The Highlanders now own a 13-13 record. They play next when they travel to Gate City for a non-league test on Friday, March 3. Glenvar will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 70-60 non-league win over Central Wise (Norton, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 21-5.
