The Grimsley Whirlies triumphed over the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys lacrosse team by a score of 16-10 in Monday's league match.
With the win, Grimsley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Whirlies travel to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC) to play the Villains in a non-league match on Monday, March 6. The Villains go into the match with a record of 0-2. Bishop McGuinness lost 18-13 in their recent non-league match against Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC)
With the defeat, Southwest Guilford drops to 0-1 on the season. The Cowboys host Glenn (Kernersville, NC) to play the Bobcats in a non-league match on Thursday, March 2. The Bobcats go into the match with a record of 0-0.
