In Thursday's league test, the visiting Grimsley Whirlies lacrosse squad scored a good 11-2 victory over the Southwest Guilford Cowboys.
The Whirlies now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Page for a Metro test on Monday, April 24. Grimsley will face a Pirates squad coming off a 15-9 league win over Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 4-5.
In their next game, the Cowboys face the Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro test, on Friday, April 21. Southwest Guilford will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Nighthawks come into the test with a 2-6 record after their 15-9 league loss to Page (Greensboro, NC).
