The Howard Huskies held off the host Westside Seminoles soccer squad by a margin of 4-3 in Monday's league match.
The Huskies now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Baldwin for a 4A Region 2 match on Wednesday, March 1. Howard will encounter a Braves squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Perry (Perry, GA). The Braves record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Westside drops to 0-6 on the season. The Seminoles host Stratford Academy (Macon, GA) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 28.
