The Westside Seminoles held off the host Howard Huskies soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Monday's league match.
The Seminoles now sport a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Baldwin for a 4A Region 2 match on Thursday, March 30. Westside will encounter a Braves squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Jasper County (Monticello, GA). The Braves record now stands at 9-7.
With the loss, Howard drops to 1-10 on the season. The Huskies travel to Peach County (Fort Valley, GA) to encounter the Trojans in a 3A Region 2 match on Thursday, March 30. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 1-13. Peach County won 1-0 in their recent non-league match against Northside (Warner Robins, GA)
