In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Lyndon Institute Vikings basketball team scored a decisive 45-24 triumph over the Montpelier Solons.
In their next game, the Vikings meet the Harwood Highlanders (Moretown, VT) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 1. Lyndon Institute will attempt to move on its 17-4 season record. The Highlanders enter the match with a 17-4 record after their 66-33 non-league win over Milton (Milton, VT).
With the defeat, Montpelier moves to 9-12 on the year.
