Alabama High School Softball - Brewer bounces New Hope

February 27, 2024: New Hope, AL 35760

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Brewer Patriots (Somerville, AL) and the host New Hope Indians (New Hope, AL), saw Brewer's softball squad nip New Hope by a count of 8-4.

The Patriots now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cullman for a non-league match on Friday, March 1. Brewer will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to West Point (Cullman, AL). The Bearcats record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, New Hope falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Buckhorn (New Market, AL) to face the Bucks in a non-league match on Thursday, February 29. The Bucks enter the match with a record of 1-3.
