Alabama High School Softball - Brewer bounces New Hope

April 23, 2024: New Hope, AL 35760

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Brewer Patriots (Somerville, AL) and the host New Hope Indians (New Hope, AL), saw Brewer's softball squad nip New Hope by a count of 11-5.

The Patriots now sport a 18-11 record. They take the field next when they host Skyline for a non-league match on Thursday, April 25. Brewer will face a Vikings squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Hatton (Town Creek, AL). The Vikings record now stands at 24-13.

With the loss, New Hope falls to 15-21 on the campaign. The Indians host Sylvania (Sylvania, AL) to face the Rams in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 24. The Rams enter the match with a record of 7-12. Sylvania lost 7-3 in their recent non-league match against North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL)
