Florida High School Softball - Freeport nudges Holmes County

Freeport Bulldogs (Freeport, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Holmes County Blue Devils (Bonifay, FL), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Altha for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. Freeport will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 12-1 league loss to Cottondale (Cottondale, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Holmes County falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Bozeman (Panama City, FL) to face the Bucks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 29. The Bucks enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Bozeman lost 8-0 in their recent non-league challenge against North Bay Haven Academy (Panama City, FL)
