Pioneer Diamondbacks (Mission, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Rowe Warriors (McAllen, TX), 18-3 in a league challenge.

The Diamondbacks now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North for a 5A Region IV District 31 challenge on Friday, March 1. Pioneer will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 9-2 league win over McAllen (McAllen, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, Rowe falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Warriors host Vela (Edinburg, TX) to battle the Sabercats in a 5A Region IV District 31 challenge on Friday, March 8. The Sabercats enter the challenge with a record of 6-10.
