Pioneer Diamondbacks (Mission, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Rowe Warriors (McAllen, TX), 17-2 in a league challenge.

The Diamondbacks now own a 15-5 record. They take the field next when they host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North for a 5A Region IV District 31 challenge on Thursday, March 28. Pioneer will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 8-0 league win over McAllen (McAllen, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 20-2.

With the loss, Rowe falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Vela (Edinburg, TX) to battle the Sabercats in a 5A Region IV District 31 challenge on Friday, April 5. The Sabercats enter the challenge with a record of 11-12.
