The Quitman County Hornets baseball team (Georgetown, GA), 15-13 in Tuesday's league outing with the host Southwest Georgia STEM Charter Aggies (Shellman, GA)

The Aggies now hold a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Terrell County for a 1A D-II Area 1 outing on Thursday, March 2.

Next, the Hornets confront the Seminole County Indians (Donalsonville, GA) in a 1A D-II Area 1 outing, on Monday, March 6. Quitman County will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Indians go into the outing with a 5-2 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Pelham (Pelham, GA).
