Quitman County Hornets (Georgetown, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Southwest Georgia STEM Charter Aggies (Shellman, GA), 20-19 in a league test.

With the win, Quitman County upgrades its record to 1-11 on the season. The Hornets travel to Early County (Blakely, GA) to battle the Bobcats in a 1A D-II Area 1 test on Monday, April 10. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 13-7. Early County won 11-1 in their recent league test against Terrell County (Dawson, GA)
