Orono Spartans (Long Lake, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Louis Park Orioles (St. Louis Park, MN), 91-77 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Orono upgrades its record to 19-6 on the season. The Spartans host Chaska (Chaska, MN) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, March 3. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 8-16. Chaska lost 75-66 in their recent non-league bout against Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN)

Next up, the Orioles play the Waconia Wildcats (Waconia, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 3. St. Louis Park will attempt to upgrade on its 2-23 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 11-15 record after their 76-61 league loss to Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN).
