The Poteet Pirates smashed the host Spruce Timberwolves soccer squad by a margin of 7-0 in Tuesday's league match.
The Pirates now sport a 14-4 record. They play next when they host Conrad for a 5A Region 2 District 12 match on Friday, March 3. Poteet will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Adams (Dallas, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Spruce drops to 0-8 on the season.
