In Friday's league battle, the host Poteet Pirates soccer squad scored a good 8-0 win over the Spruce Timberwolves.
The Pirates (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Conrad (Dallas, TX). The Chargers go into the 5A Region 2 District 12 battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Conrad was overwhelmed by Samuell (Dallas, TX), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Timberwolves (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Wranglers go into the 5A Region 2 District 12 battle with a 3-8 record.
