The Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) baseball got by the visiting Belen Eagles (Belen, NM), 2-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Huskies now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Aztec for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. Hope Christian will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Belen drops to 1-1 on the year. The Eagles host Valencia (Los Lunas, NM) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Valencia won 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM)
