In Friday's league outing, the visiting Walnut Grove Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 win over the Sherman Bearcats.

The Wildcats (15-1) will now prepare for their outing against McKinney North (McKinney, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 5A Region 2 District 9 outing with a 10-6 record. In their last outing, McKinney North by Lovejoy (Lucas, TX), 2-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bearcats confront the Anna Coyotes (Anna, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 9 outing, on Tuesday, March 4. Sherman will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Coyotes enter the outing with a 8-7 record after their 8-0 league win over Greenville (Greenville, TX).
