Rudder Rangers (Bryan, TX) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host College Station Cougars (College Station, TX), 2-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Rudder moves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Montgomery (Montgomery, TX) to clash with the Bears in a 5A Region 3 District 17 test on Friday, March 7. The Bears come into the test with a record of 7-7.

The Cougars now sport a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Creek for a 5A Region 3 District 17 test on Tuesday, March 4. College Station will clash with a Lions team coming off a 2-2 non-league Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy (Dallas, TX). The Lions record now stands at 12-4.
