The Rangers (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Brenham (Brenham, TX). The Cubs enter the 5A Region 3 District 17 battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Brenham by A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX), 8-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Lake Creek Lions (Montgomery, TX) in a 5A Region 3 District 17 battle, on Friday, February 7. College Station will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 6-4 record after their 5-4 league win over Rudder (Bryan, TX).
