Texas High School Softball - Trenton bounces Whitewright

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Trenton Tigers (Trenton, TX) and the host Whitewright Tigers (Whitewright, TX), observed Trenton's softball team prevail over Whitewright by a tally of 12-2.

The Tigers (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Ector (Ector, TX). The Eagles go into the 2A Region II District 15 bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Ector was routed by Maud (Maud, TX), 4-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Sam Rayburn Rebels (Ivanhoe, TX) in a 2A Region II District 11 bout, on Monday, March 3. Whitewright will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 15-1 non-league loss to De Kalb (De Kalb, TX).
