Texas High School Softball - Whitewright bounces Trenton

In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Whitewright Tigers softball team scored a tight 16-9 victory over the Trenton Tigers.

The Tigers (10-5) will now prepare for their match against Collinsville (Collinsville, TX). The Pirates go into the non-league match with a 4-11 record. In their last match, Collinsville tipped Ector (Ector, TX), 8-7, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Dodd City Hornets (Dodd City, TX) in a 2A Region II District 15 match, on Tuesday, April 1. Trenton will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record.
