Mississippi High School Baseball - North Pike tipped by Loyd Star

The North Pike Jaguars baseball team (Summit, MS), 8-6 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host Loyd Star Hornets (Brookhaven, MS)

The Hornets now hold a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Enterprise for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 2. Loyd Star will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 10-9 non-league win over Lawrence County (Monticello, MS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 5-3.

Next, the Jaguars confront the Bogue Chitto Bobcats (Bogue Chitto, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 1. North Pike will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Bobcats enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Wesson (Wesson, MS).
