The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars routed the host Royalton Royals basketball team by a final score of 74-42 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Jaguars face the Hancock Owls (Hancock, MN) in a A Section 6 battle, on Friday, March 1. Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa will attempt to improve on its 17-8 season record. The Owls come into the battle with a 12-15 record after their 81-49 league loss to West Central Area (Barrett, MN).
The Royals (8-19) will now prepare for their battle against Osakis (Osakis, MN). The Silverstreaks come into the AA Section 6 battle with a 20-5 record. In their last battle, Osakis trounced Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN), 69-46, in a non-league battle.
