Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets (Grand Island, NE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Palmer Tigers (Palmer, NE), 32-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Heartland Lutheran upgrades its record to 6-11 on the season. The Red Hornets host Fullerton (Fullerton, NE) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 5. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Fullerton won 58-37 in their recent non-league bout against Osceola (Osceola, NE)

Next up, the Tigers play the Nebraska Christian Eagles (Central City, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 10. Palmer will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record.
