Texas High School Basketball - Bellevue trounced by Midway

The Midway Falcons trounced the host Bellevue Eagles basketball team by a tally of 68-41 in Friday's league battle.
The Falcons now possess a 21-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prairie Valley for a 1A Region III District 22 battle on Saturday, February 4. Midway will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 79-48 league win over Gold-Burg (Bowie, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-14.
The Eagles (2-18) will now prepare for their battle against Slidell (Slidell, TX). The Greyhounds come into the 1A Region III District 22 battle with a 16-12 record. In their last battle, Slidell trounced Prairie Valley (Nocona, TX), 62-36, in a league battle.
