In Friday's league match, the host Bluefield Beavers basketball team scored a good 60-50 triumph over the Wyoming East Warriors.
In their next game, the Beavers meet the Chapmanville Regional Tigers (Chapmanville, WV) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 7. Bluefield will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 14-1 record after their 69-58 league win over Nitro (Nitro, WV).
With the defeat, Wyoming East moves to 11-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV) to meet the Red Devils in a non-league match on Monday, February 6. The Red Devils enter the match with a record of 13-4. Ravenswood won 75-57 in their recent league match against Wahama (Mason, WV)
