Illinois High School Basketball - Calhoun trounces North Greene

The Calhoun Warriors (Hardin, IL) basketball crushed the host North Greene Spartans (White Hall, IL), 70-35 in Friday's league test.
The Warriors (9-17) will now prepare for their test against Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, IL). The Wolves go into the Western Illinois Valley test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, Pleasant Hill walloped Illinois School for the Deaf (Jacksonville, IL), 62-18, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now sport a 6-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia for a Western Illinois Valley contest on Tuesday, February 7. North Greene will battle a Trojans team coming off a 46-44 league loss to Calhoun (Hardin, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 14-12.
