Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Hempfield Area trounces Canon-McMillan

The Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Canon-McMillan Big Macs (Canonsburg, PA), 67-45 in Friday's league test.
The Spartans (10-11) will now prepare for their test against Baldwin (Pittsburgh, PA). The Highlanders go into the WPIAL 6A 2 test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Baldwin walloped Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA), 63-50, in a league test.
The Big Macs now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they host Upper St. Clair for a WPIAL 6A 2 test on Tuesday, February 7. Canon-McMillan will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 37-36 league win over Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-9.
