With the victory, Polk County improves its record to 6-14 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to East Rutherford (Forest City, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a 2A Conference 41 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 6-17. East Rutherford lost 72-48 in their recent league challenge against R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC)

Next up, the Trojans play the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 6. Chase will attempt to improve on its 6-15 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 80-60 league loss to Huss (Gastonia, NC).
