In Friday's league outing, the Chowchilla Tribe (Chowchilla, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Minarets Mustangs (O'Neals, CA), by a margin of 68-45.

The Tribe (14-12) will now prepare for their outing against Sierra (Tollhouse, CA). The Chieftains go into the Northwest Sequoia outing with a 22-4 record. In their last outing, Sierra smashed Yosemite (Oakhurst, CA), 77-45, in a league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 8-18 record. They play next when they host Liberty for a Northwest Sequoia outing on Tuesday, February 7. Minarets will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 67-50 league win over Riverdale (Riverdale, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 10-16.
