Cousino Patriots (Warren, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Utica Ford Falcons (Sterling Heights, MI), 55-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cousino upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Lake Shore (St. Clair Shores, MI) to play the Shorians in a Macomb Area - Blue bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Shorians come into the bout with a record of 2-15. Lake Shore lost 68-36 in their recent league bout against Utica (Utica, MI)

Next up, the Falcons play the Fraser Ramblers (Fraser, MI) in a Macomb Area - Blue bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Utica Ford will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Ramblers come into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 57-40 league loss to Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI).
