Texas High School Basketball - Deweyville knocked off by Sabine Pass

The Sabine Pass Sharks basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Deweyville Pirates to 46 in the Sharks league triumph on Friday.

The Sharks now sport a 16-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Evadale for a 2A Region IV District 25 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Sabine Pass will meet a Rebels team coming off a 71-30 league win over Hull-Daisetta (Daisetta, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 16-17.

The Pirates (13-13) will now prepare for their contest against West Hardin (Saratoga, TX). The Oilers enter the 2A Region IV District 25 contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, West Hardin was outscored by Big Sandy (Dallardsville, TX), 64-18, in a league contest.
