In Friday's league outing, the Discovery Titans (Lawrenceville, GA) basketball squad edged the host Duluth Wildcats (Duluth, GA), by a margin of 44-43.

The Titans (5-19) will now prepare for their outing against Berkmar (Lilburn, GA). The Patriots go into the AAAAAAA Region 7 outing with a 11-13 record. In their last outing, Berkmar was tipped by Wilson Academy (Lithonia, GA), 58-56, in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 7-17 record. They play next when they travel to Peachtree Ridge for a AAAAAAA Region 7 outing on Tuesday, February 7. Duluth will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 62-53 league win over Meadowcreek (Norcross, GA). The Lions record now stands at 19-5.
