Maryland High School Basketball - Fort Hill trounces Southern

The Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) basketball crushed the host Southern Rams (Oakland, MD), 77-52 in Friday's league test.
The Sentinels (15-2) will now prepare for their test against Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD). The Miners go into the Appalachian test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Mountain Ridge was trounced by Clear Spring (Clear Spring, MD), 61-45, in a non-league test.
The Rams now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they travel to Northern for a Appalachian test on Friday, February 10. Southern will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 56-31 non-league win over Shanksville Stonycreek (Shanksville, PA). The Huskies record now stands at 10-8.
